From SupplySide Global to Every Finished Product: Why Our 2027 Supply Planning Starts Now
As our team heads to SupplySide Global, 2027 planning is already underway
This week, the Vernon Walden team is in Las Vegas for SupplySide Global, meeting with customers, suppliers, and industry partners. We're already deep into 2027 planning, and I want to share why these conversations matter well beyond the trade show floor, for every formulator and brand that depends on us for fat-soluble vitamin powders, and for the finished products those ingredients end up in.
This Week in Las Vegas
Our team's conversations at SupplySide Global are centered on three things: supply chain conditions, product availability, and pricing for the year ahead. At a macro level, 2027 forward coverage is shaping up differently than 2026 did, and the brands we work with are asking sharper questions earlier in the year than they used to. That's a good instinct. We're using this week to:
Confirm supply chain conditions with our producer partners heading into 2027
Lock in raw material availability for fat-soluble vitamin powders our customers rely on
Discuss pricing against current raw material and logistics realities
Address global challenges in supply chain and prepare for ongoing or new disruptions
Track regulatory, formulation, and market developments across the broader ingredient landscape
At the same time, we're meeting face to face with the suppliers we've built long-term relationships with over 35 years, relationships that matter most when markets get tight.
Expanding Our Non-GMO Vitamin E Powder Line
We're also using SupplySide Global to talk through several product developments, including expanded Non-GMO Vitamin E powder options and a new sunflower-derived Non-GMO Vitamin E powder. Sunflower-derived sourcing has become a priority for manufacturers formulating for allergen-sensitive and Non-GMO label claims, and we're positioning our portfolio to meet that demand without asking customers to compromise on stability or cost.
This isn't a reaction to a single customer request. It's the kind of forward investment we make so that when a formulator comes to us needing a Non-GMO, tariff-free, USA-manufactured vitamin E powder, the answer is already yes.
Why Supply Chain Conditions Are the Real Story
It's easy to treat a sourcing conversation at a trade show as background noise, something that happens upstream, far from the finished product on a shelf. It isn't. Availability and pricing decided this week at SupplySide Global are the conditions every downstream formulation has to work within next year.
A few realities we keep in front of our customers:
Dose consistency depends on supply consistency. A formulator can only hold a label claim if the raw ingredient behind it is available at the specified purity, batch after batch.
Fair pricing is a function of raw material economics, not negotiation. Tariffs, logistics, and producer capacity, not list prices, are what ultimately set what a fair cost looks like.
Non-GMO, GMP, and FDA-registered sourcing has to be verified continuously, not assumed once and forgotten.
In conclusion, the work we do at events like this one isn't separate from product quality. It's the foundation of it.
Our Commitment to Supply Stability
We monitor global ingredient markets continuously heading into 2027, not just at trade shows.
We maintain long-term, well-established relationships with trusted producers, built over 35 years.
We communicate proactively with customers about availability and pricing shifts before they become a problem on your production schedule.
We invest ahead of demand, including expanding our Non-GMO Vitamin E powder portfolio with new sunflower-derived options.
We manufacture in the USA, with tariff-free sourcing, Non-GMO and Halal-friendly options, Kosher certification, FDA registration, and GMP practices across our operations.
Quality, compliance, and reliability aren't separate goals for us, they're the same goal, worked on from three directions. If your 2027 supply plan still has open questions, now is the time to close them.
